🌟 Volunteer of the Month 🌟

This month, we’re celebrating Gift Akugbe, who continues to show up for the GLYE mission. 💗

Every school visit, every conversation, every activity, and every girl we reach is made possible by people who are willing to give their time, energy, and heart to this work.

To Gift, thank you for showing up, contributing your gifts, and helping us create spaces where girls feel seen, heard, and empowered. Your commitment reminds us that meaningful change is a collective effort.

And to every GLYE volunteer, whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or recently joined us, we see you, we appreciate you, and we’re grateful for you. 🌸

Want to be part of the work? There is always room for people who believe in creating better opportunities and safer spaces for girls.

Join the GLYE volunteer community. Let’s show up for girls, together. 💗

Every school we visit reminds us of one thing: there are girls waiting to be seen, heard, and empowered.

These moments capture curiosity, confidence, courage, and the beginning of important conversations. Through every school visit, we create safe spaces where girls can ask questions without fear, learn about their bodies with confidence, and discover that their ideas, voices, and dreams matter.

We believe every girl deserves access to the knowledge, support, and opportunities that help her grow into her full potential. That is why we remain committed to showing up, one school and one girl at a time.

If you’re a school administrator, teacher, parent, or organization looking to empower the girls in your community, we’d love to partner with you.

📩 Invite GLYE to your school and let’s create a meaningful learning experience together.

Every time we walk into a school, we meet girls with different stories.

Some are confident enough to raise their hands. Some are shy and choose to listen. Some have questions they’ve been too afraid to ask. Others are simply waiting for someone to tell them that what they’re feeling is normal.

Different girls. Different stories. One common need to be seen, heard, and supported.

That’s why every school visit matters.

Beyond the lessons on puberty, menstrual health, confidence, and STEM, we are creating safe spaces where girls know they belong, where their voices matter, and where they can learn without fear or shame.

One conversation may seem small, but for a girl who has never had the opportunity to ask questions or be encouraged, it can change everything.

And that’s why we’ll keep showing up, one school and one girl at a time. 💗

POV: You’re the founder Roseline Adesanya of GLYE.

Your days are filled with coordinating volunteers, planning school visits, creating content, responding to schools, organizing outreaches, and making sure every girl who attends leaves feeling more confident than she arrived.

It’s a lot of work, but seeing girls find their voices makes every moment worth it. 💗

Another school, another room full of curious minds and confident girls. 💗

Our recent school visit was a reminder of why these conversations matter.

During this outreach, we spoke with the girls about puberty, menstrual health, confidence, and personal boundaries. We also engaged them in a hands-on STEM activity where they identified challenges in their communities and shared creative solutions, proving that girls are capable of thinking critically and leading change when given the opportunity.

A special thank you to Angels on a mission School for welcoming us and partnering with us to empower the next generation of girls. It was a privilege to learn, laugh, and grow together.

Are you a school administrator, teacher, or parent who would love to see GLYE visit your school?

We would love to partner with you to create a safe, engaging, and impactful learning experience for your students. Send us a DM or reach out through the link in our bio to invite GLYE to your school.

Together, let’s raise confident, informed, and empowered girls. 🌸
