The closing ceremony of Orange Corners Nigeria Cohort 14 began with a welcome address from the Consul General of the Kingdom of Netherlands,

His remarks highlighted the importance of creating the right environment for entrepreneurs to build businesses that are not only innovative, but also sustainable and positioned for long-term growth.

Through Orange Corners Nigeria, entrepreneurs have gained access to the knowledge, mentorship, networks and support needed to strengthen their businesses, respond to market opportunities and build with greater clarity.

As Cohort 14 comes to a close, the focus now shifts beyond the programme. It is about taking these lessons, connections and opportunities forward to build stronger businesses, create value and contribute to sustainable development.

The journey continues, and we look forward to seeing what these entrepreneurs build next.

What happens when 40 business owners step away from the everyday running of their businesses and give three full days to thinking about how they sell, grow and execute?

That’s exactly what happened at IVD, Abeokuta, as entrepreneurs came together for the Sales, Strategy & Business Acumen Bootcamp.

Over the three days, participants worked through real business challenges, sharpened their commercial thinking and developed their Sales Strategy Canvas — putting their ideas together into strategies they could take back to their businesses.

They then presented their Canvas to a panel of industry leaders, who challenged their thinking, shared practical feedback and offered perspectives to help them strengthen their approach.

There were questions, ideas, feedback, pitches and plenty of learning along the way.

Thank you to our volunteer facilitators, panelists and, most importantly, the 40 entrepreneurs who made the three days worthwhile.

The learning may have happened at IVD, but the real work begins when these ideas make their way back into the businesses.

On Tuesday, we had the OCN 14 Close-Out & OCIF Track II Award Ceremony, a day dedicated to recognizing the bold entrepreneurs shaping Nigeria's future.

Five outstanding entrepreneurs were awarded with a pre-seed funding of €65,000. They include:

After months of building, learning, refining ideas, testing possibilities, and turning challenges into new opportunities, Orange Corners Nigeria Cohort 14 is ready to celebrate how far these entrepreneurs and their businesses have come.

Under the theme “Milestones of Innovation, Celebrating Excellence,” we’ll bring the cohort together one more time to celebrate their stories, their businesses and the impact they are already making.

There’s also more to look forward to. Six businesses will receive OCIF Track II pre-seed funding, giving them additional support as they move into their next phase of growth.

Just two more days until we celebrate the Orange Corners Nigeria Cohort 14 journey.

From the ideas that started the journey to the businesses that have grown along the way, there is a lot to celebrate. Under the theme “Milestones of Innovation, Celebrating Excellence,” we’ll come together to recognise the entrepreneurs, their businesses and the milestones they have reached.

Six businesses will also receive pre-seed funding through the Orange Corners Innovation Fund (OCIF) Track II, supporting them as they take their next steps.
