Yesterday, 21st May 2026, our hearts were full of joy as PEN Initiatives for Learning and Support visited Temidire Secondary School, Asa Local Government Area, Kwara State, to create impact, spread love, and inspire young minds. β€οΈ
It was more than just a program, it was a moment of hope, care, and transformation.
We educated and enlightened the students on menstrual health, teaching the girls the importance of hygiene, self confidence, and self care.
We also distributed sanitary pads and practically showed them how to properly use and fix them. The smiles, excitement, and relief on their faces reminded us that little acts of kindness can truly change lives.
Beyond that, we opened their minds to the world of Digital Literacy and Artificial Intelligence (AI), helping them understand that the future is bigger than their fears and limitations.
Seeing the students curious, happy, engaged, and eager to learn was deeply emotional and fulfilling.
At the end of the program, the appreciation from the students touched our hearts. Their joy spoke louder than words, and their happiness became our motivation to keep pushing for change.
This is the kind of impact that gives hope to the future.
This is the reason PEN Initiatives for Learning and Support exists. To educate, support, inspire, and remind every child that they matter.
Together, we are raising informed minds, confident girls, and digitally aware future leaders. πβ¨
