On May 13, 2025, during our medical outreach at St. Marten’s Primary School, Mushin, we met Mrs. Fadeyi Temitope — a 56-year-old widow and mother of 3 who has worked tirelessly to provide for her children.
She sells sachet water but often struggled because she had to buy ice blocks daily to keep her products cold. She once ran a small pastries business too, but couldn’t continue due to financial constraints. To keep her son in school, she even borrowed money from her pastor.
The May Six Foundation stepped in by gifting her a chest freezer to grow her drinks business and providing ₦50,000 seed capital to restart her pastries venture.
Today, Mrs. Fadeyi is filled with renewed hope — for her business, her children’s education, and her family’s future. 💙
Her words touched our hearts:
"This is so unexpected, thank you for surprising me. Now I can grow my business and ensure my children don’t miss school again. May God bless the May Six Foundation for remembering me and my family.”
At May Six Foundation, this is why we do what we do — reducing the number of out-of-school children by empowering families. 🌍✨
Together, we can do more. 💪
