Please swipe,š¤© Today, on , soon to be concluded throwback series, These picture slides speaks for itself as I do an epic throwback to my youth and leadership platform A Network for Global Leaders! duly registered as a youth empowerment enterpriseĀ in Nigeria. I also use this medium to send a special shoutout to my people from day one. You all know yourselves, and I donāt take credit for this feat alone so thank you for riding with me against all odds!ā¤ļø A little back story: I was fearless in my 20s. And I felt unstoppable! Once an idea hits, I run with it before I even thought about it bcos as a sanguine, I was more focused on ex*****on than taking precautions of failure. This helped me gain relevance, make an impact but also burned me out. From hosting events, to floating new startups and, working with brands and organizations, I did most of it all such that at some point, I had two big conflicting brands at loggerheads for my Event lol. The most of my idea that suffered from my proactive setback is , a 13 episodes professionally produced TV show available on YouTube. , many to be an annual youth/leadership summit, and Standout Africa (a documentary show about the beauty of Africa) that did not gain the PR traction it deserved! But in all, I give glory to God becos the ability to think and do is a possibility that, it can be done and sustained (all things being equal)ā¦ why did I have this setback, you may ask? I was simply a LAPO baby with a touch of NEPO life so I had a lot to deal with as far as my future is concerned, and I knew from the get go of my life, that I donāt want to be at the mercy of anyone! I wanted to find myself in God, in my chosen media career, and also thrive on my own terms. As they say, it is not how far, but how wellā and today, to the glory of God, all I can say is, āit is wellā now.
