Big news for youth mental health in Nigeria!

YEDI is proud to partner with Grassroot Soccer and with support from the Swedish Postcode Lottery Foundation to launch MindSKILLZ in Lagos. This is a game-changing program using the power of sport to support adolescent mental health.

Over the next two years, we will reach 10,000+ young people, including adolescents with disabilities, equipping them with tools to manage stress, build resilience, and speak up.

This is more than a program.
It’s a movement to ensure every young person is seen, heard, and supported.

Every woman was once a girl with dreams.

This International Women’s Day, we took a few minutes at the YEDI office to have an honest conversation about the barriers girls still face and how these experiences shape the women they become.

When girls lack access to education, safe spaces, or opportunities to lead, it affects their future. But when they are supported, mentored, and encouraged, they grow into confident women who lead change in their communities.

Empowering girls today means empowering the women of tomorrow.
