Transforming Care: The Business of Healthcare in a Digital World

On Wednesday, 19th August 2026, the LCCI Medical, Pharmaceuticals and Allied Services Group hosted its symposium themed “Transform Care: The Business of Healthcare in a Digital World.”

In his welcome address, Engr. Leye Kupoluyi, President and Chairman of Council, LCCI, highlighted the need to view healthcare transformation not only from the perspective of improved health outcomes but also as an opportunity to drive investment, job creation, innovation, and local industrial development.

The event featured opening remarks by Dr. Ayobami Kuyoro, Chairperson of the LCCI Medical, Pharmaceuticals and Allied Services Group, followed by an address from the Honourable Commissioner for Health, Lagos State, and Special Guest, Prof. Akin A., titled “Driving Private Sector Growth through Policy and Regulatory Reforms.” The Keynote Address was also delivered by Mrs. Fola Laoye.

Discussions continued with a panel session, “Scaling Healthcare Business in a Digitally Driven Economy,” moderated by Pharm. Nnenna Omeke, CEO, Maucare Pharmacy, with contributions from Dr. Segun Ebitanmi, Dr. Funmi Adewara, and Mr. Adham Yehia.

The programme also featured a Fireside Chat, “Leading Healthcare in a Digital Age: Building Resilient and Sustainable Health Enterprises,” moderated by Pharm. Nnenna Omeke and featuring Dr. Adeolu Arogundade, before concluding with an interactive Q&A session.

LCCI Medical Group Pays Courtesy Visit to Lagos State Commissioner for Health

On the 4th of August 2026, some members of the LCCI Medical, Pharmaceuticals & Allied Services Group, alongside the Director-General of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Commissioner for Health, Lagos State, Prof. Akin Abayomi, on Tuesday, 4th August 2026.

The visit provided an opportunity to formally present the upcoming LCCI Medical, Pharmaceuticals & Allied Services Group Symposium 2026, themed:

“Transforming Care: The Business of Healthcare in a Digital World.”
