One of the things that struck me as amazing from the book of Ruth is how that the entire book started from the story of a Man who left or moved on when things became tough and difficult…However, the book is about a woman who *CHOSE* to stay when things became difficult. I say became difficult because obviously, she didn’t chose the hard life initially. She simply got married ( and I assume like every bride, hopes for the rosy and fairy tale kind of marriage) . But alas! the table turned and disaster on disaster on disaster! Could it be worse??? Her father-in-law died, her husband died , her brother-in-law too!
Or what do you think? three deaths in a family?! That’s a lot
*Can We take a moment to pray against untimely death in our families* 🙏
We decree in the name of Jesus that none shall go before their time in Jesus name 🙏
There is a book by Robert Schuller titled *Tough Times Never Last but Tough People Do!* . And how true it is!
Let me start out by challenging us tonight to be the type of woman that stays when the going gets rough. We live in interesting times today. We thank God for the testimonies and miracles that He gives us daily. However, to the ones in situations you didn’t plan for…to the ones going through a rough patch…to the ones in one emotional or financial challenge or the other…Can I please encourage you to hold on? Not to give Up? Can you draw strength from the story of Ruth?
Because it won’t always be like this! Can I have Some ladies/ women testify to the goodness of God by typing *It won’t always be like this*
Yes! It won’t always be like this! The story of Ruth gives us hope💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽
Yes! We declare tonight that our stories are changing for good in Jesus name🙏
1 Peter 5:10
After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace [who imparts His blessing and favor], who called you to His own eternal glory in Christ, will Himself complete, confirm, strengthen, and establish you [making you what you ought to be].
Hallelujah 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽 I don’t know about you but I’m excited every time I’m reminded that my life is getting better and my path is shining brighter 😁
Back to Ruth
In Chapter 3,
Ruth didn’t just stay in a tough situation, she listened to instructions too! She applied godly wisdom which eventually took her out of her rut.
