Topic: Promoting Citizenship as a Political Ideology
This two-day webinar presents an opportunity for discussion of the concept of citizenship by diverse participants from all walks of life. What could such a system of governance look like in the 21st century? Are there any emerging global trends or good practices with nations practising a form of citizenship? How do other forms of governance compare with the concept of citizenship? What should the constitution of citizenship contain? What safeguards are needed to prevent the devolution of citizenship into a tainted democracy? These are some of the questions and topics that would be discussed.
