In 2022, stopped at Makoko, because we realized education was traditionally undervalued, with many parents unable to afford to send their children to schools, and most of the children living their lives helping their families catch & sell fish.
ingdewnursery particularly caught our attention, a school that a group of youths came together to create where they voluntarily teach the children at no cost to their parents.
Over time, our NGO launched a transformative project aimed at getting stationaries so the school can keep running, getting proper school uniforms for the children, and hiring teachers.
We are not there yet but we have witnessed a remarkable turnaround in the school. The children are excelling and parents are now better advocates for their children’s education, understanding its role in securing a brighter future.
Special thanks to the teachers .ingdewnursery and everyone who has made a donation in support of our cause.
God bless you💓
