*NASFAT Lagos Zone 2 Extends Heartfelt Congratulations to Muslims on Hijrah 1448AH*
NASFAT Lagos Zone 2 warmly congratulates all members and Muslims worldwide on the occasion of Hijrah 1448AH. This significant event commemorates the migration of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) from Makkah to Madinah, symbolizing sacrifice, perseverance, and devotion to faith.

In another goodnews, NAṢFAT Lagos Zone 2 announces the completion of Solar powered Borehole at its Cemetery project. The NASFAT Lagos Zone 2 Zonal Executive Council (ZEC) has continued to record remarkable progress on its ongoing Cemetery Project with the recent installation of a high-quality security gate ahead of its expected commencement of usage in 3rd Quarter of 2026.
The Zonal Chairman, *Engr. Abdulganiyu Jumah Adebayo,* appreciated all donors and members whose contributions have supported the project thus far. He, however, appealed to well-meaning members, philanthropists, and friends of the society to continue supporting the initiative so that the 2nd phase of the Cemetery Project can be completed as scheduled.
The Zonal Chairman Engr Abdulganiyu Jumah Adebayo who reiterated this during the Joint Chairmen - ZEC monthly meeting on Saturday held at NASFAT Ijegun branch that the Cemetery, when completed, will serve as a befitting and well-managed resting place for members in accordance with Islamic values and NASFAT’s commitment to community development.
According to the Zonal Project Secretary of NAṢFAT Lagos Zone 2, *Engr. Nurudeen Ajala* , the cemetery project is divided into three phases, with the first phase already at a fast pace of development. He noted that the remarkable progress achieved so far has been made possible under the visionary leadership of the Zonal Chairman, Engr. Abdulganiyu Jumah Adebayo.
Engr. Ajala further revealed that the cemetery now feature a functional solar-powered borehole and high quality security gate, in few weeks to come, the cemetery street lighting system, and separate male and female concrete slabs for Janazah (funeral) rites will also have been completed, ensuring that the facility aligns with Islamic standards of decency and sustainability.
The Zonal NAZAS Coordinator, *Alhaji Luqman Moyosore Soyoye, FCA, FCS,* commended the tremendous effort and commitment demonstrated by the ZEC team toward actualizing a befitting cemetery for the Zone and the general Muslim community. He appealed to members and supporters both from Nigeria and Diaspora to please donate generously to the dedicated *CEMETERY ACCOUNT DETAILS* *NAME :* NASFAT Lagos Zone Two Cemetery. *A/C. NUMBER* : 1021066349 *BANK* : UBA, emphasizing that the project requires significant capital investment. He also expressed gratitude to all sponsors and donors who have already made payment, praying that Allah continues to bless and reward them abundantly.
The Zonal Missioner Sheikh Dr. AbdulRasheed Asamu prays to all members on the occasion of the new Hijrah year that Allah will bless us all. He extends an invitation to all members and Muslims to join the zone for mega asalatu lecture coming up July 19th 2026, encouraging everyone to participate and benefit from the Zonal Mega Asalatu. He also congratulates Muslims on the occasion of Hijrah 1448AH, wishing them a year of success and blessings.
