HOW TO REMAIN STANDING IN DIFFICULT TIMES
Life will bring storms. There will be seasons of pressure, uncertainty, disappointment, waiting, and difficult circumstances. But difficult times do not have to destroy you.
In this powerful teaching from Scenic Ministry of God (SMG), we explore how to remain spiritually strong and standing when the storms of life come.
📖 MAIN SCRIPTURE
Matthew 7:24–25
Jesus teaches about the wise man who built his house upon the rock. When the rain came, the floods rose, and the winds blew against the house, it did not fall because it was founded on the rock.
In the same way, when your life is rooted in Christ, you can stand even when circumstances become difficult.
🔥 5 THINGS THAT KEEP A BELIEVER STANDING
1. Remain Rooted in God's Word
When everything around you is changing, God's Word remains unchanging. Don't allow your circumstances to become louder than God's promises.
2. Remain Connected to God Through Prayer
Difficult seasons should push you closer to God, not away from Him. When you don't know what to do, pray.
3. Don't Interpret God's Silence as God's Absence
Sometimes God is working beneath the surface. Like a tree developing roots beneath the ground before its growth becomes visible, God may be working in ways you cannot yet see.
4. Refuse to Give Up Your Faith
Your difficult season is not necessarily the end of your story. Don't make permanent decisions because of temporary pain. Keep trusting God.
5. Remember What God Has Already Done
Your testimony is evidence that God has carried you before. The God who sustained you yesterday is still God today.
The storm may come.
The wind may blow.
The rain may fall.
The pressure may increase.
BUT YOU WILL REMAIN STANDING!
Not because you are strong in yourself, but because your roots are in Christ.
🌱 ROOTED IN THE WORD.
🌱 ROOTED IN CHRIST.
🌱 ROOTED FOR GROWTH.
May this message strengthen your faith, deepen your roots in Christ, and encourage you to keep standing regardless of what you are facing.
