The Arise Monalisa Foundation (AMF) is an Africa-based not-for-profit institution dedicated to seek autism awareness and promoting excellence in the creative industry across Africa. The Foundation is committed to increasing autism awareness, identifying, and developing creative talents in Africa by creating world class training opportunities for young people in the creative industry. Founded in 2012 by star actress Monalisa Chinda, the Foundation seeks to empower, identify and address challenges within the creative industry in Africa. Mission Statement

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, let’s encourage the women around us to know their bodies, pay attention to changes, go for recommended screenings and speak up when something doesn’t feel right.

We may not be able to solve every conflict around us, but we can choose the kind of presence we bring into our homes, conversations and communities.

Peace is not simply the absence of conflict. It is a choice we make: in how we speak, how we listen, how we forgive, and how we treat one another.

Sometimes, embracing peace means choosing understanding over anger, conversation over confrontation, and compassion over judgment.

It begins in our homes, our friendships, our communities and in the everyday moments when we choose not to add to the conflict.

Today, let’s choose peace; not because differences don’t exist, but because people matter more than winning an argument.

May we become people who make room for understanding, reconciliation and hope.

A woman who knows her rights is better equipped to protect herself, make informed choices, and speak with confidence.

But knowing your rights is only the beginning. Creating a society where those rights are respected is the work we must all take seriously.

Every woman and girl deserves to live free from violence, have access to education, be treated fairly at work, and know that she can seek help and speak up without fear.

These are not privileges. They are rights.
