Something exhilarating and amazing happened today at The Motherless Babies Home Lekki!
Today, we celebrated the grand opening of a state-of-the-art 20-capacity home cinema for the children of home. Generously built by .ng in celebration of their fifth anniversary and to give back to society.
The atmosphere was full of excitement and joy as representatives from the Ministry of Youth and Social Development (MYSD) came to honor this memorable occasion. We were privileged to have our distinguished commissioner, Honorable Mobolaji Ogunlende, and the Permanent Secretary, Pharm (Mrs.) Toyin Oke-Osanyintolu join us for the ribbon-cutting and inauguration of the cinema.
Also present at the occasion were Lion Dame Rebecca Aikhomu and Lion AVM Anthony Okpere (Ret) CFR, the chairperson and member of the management committee of MBH respectively. The have represented the Lions Club International well over the years and we appreciate their immeasurable and selfless support.
