There has been many deaths in Akoko-Edo LGA of Edo State recently and Ekpedo has not been spared from this horror.
Among the many deaths in Uneme Ekpedo this 2026, non has shaken the town as that of Theophilus Adejumo
A simple, unassuming, respectful and respected upward mobile gentleman.
From Ibadan, where he was hospitalized before his passing, to Ekpedo, Benin City, Lagos and Abuja, among other cities, news of his death shook his peers to the fabric of their bones.

Uneme man becomes President of the Nigerian Medical Association!

Let's congratulate Professor Omoti as he was elected the President of the Nigerian Medical Association, in Kano, over the weekend.

Prior to his emergence, Uneme sons and daughters globally, mounted strenuous campaigns and fund raisers to support the course of the affable Professor of Medicine.
It is no surprise therefore after his election, the first set of people, whose efforts, he acknowledged are Uneme people worldwide.
