From Lagos to Mallorca. Some of our riders took on the Mallorca 312 last Saturday.

Mallorca312 is one of the most iconic gran fondo events in the world. It is a bucket-list event for any most cyclict/ 8,500 riders from around the world. Closed roads through the Serra de Tramuntana UNESCO World Heritage mountain range. Cycling legends like Alberto Contador and Miguel Indurain on the same course. It wasn't a small thing.

We're incredibly proud of everyone who represented Cycology at Mallorca this year.

The one thing most beginners get wrong is TYRE PRESSURE. Here's what you need to know before your next ride.๐Ÿ‘‡

Road bike tyres generally run between 65 and 100 psi. Mountain bikes run much lower, around 15 to 25 psi. Your sidewall shows a range, not one fixed number; where you land within that range depends on your weight, your bike, and the road surface youโ€™re riding.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Heavier rider:- Go higher within the range.
๐Ÿ‘‰ Rough roads:- Drop it slightly for better grip.

Your rear tyre also carries more of your weight, so it typically runs 3 to 5 psi higher than your front.

Check your tyres before every ride. Not just by squeezing it; use a pump with a gauge. Youโ€™ll feel the difference. ๐Ÿšดโ€โ™‚๏ธ
