Over the weekend, we celebrated another set of our graduates!

​Watching our children reach the finish line of their secondary education is proof of what love, support, and opportunity can do. Every smile here represents years of perseverance, hard work, and breaking through barriers.
​We are immensely proud of every single one of them.

​To our graduates: takeoff is complete. Now go rewrite the narrative and light up the world!

The first half of 2026 has been a season of steady progress, and behind every milestone is quiet, daily work that never stops.

Every day, children in our residential care programmes are fed, sheltered, protected, counselled, and supported in school, surrounded by the stability they need to heal and grow.

Our steady care and attention to our children have so have added up to progress in these five areas: education access, care & protection, New School Building & Mobility Support, new graduates and university transition, and multimedia learning in hard-to-reach communities.

None of this happens by chance. It happens because of consistent, patient, everyday care.

It feels like just yesterday we were helping them settle into their classrooms, and today, six of our young stars are officially senior secondary school graduates! ​
We are so proud of them and exceptionally proud to share that one of our children bagged the award for Best Overall Graduating Student amongst other prizes they brought home.

​What brings us the greatest joy is watching the amazing young adults they are becoming, full of big dreams.

Our Chief Operating Officer, Athina Jeje, and Social Work Executive, Moyosoreoluwa Ajayi, joined researchers, policymakers and clinicians from across Africa at the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan, for the inaugural Women dErive mAthematical modeLs for menTal Health (WEALTH) Conference and the second Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMH) Conference 2026.

It was a valuable opportunity to share evidence from our Integrated Alternative Child Care Model. Every opportunity to contribute practical evidence on what works and to help inform scientific research and policy is important to our work.
