to an impactful roundtable engagement on Multi-Level Advocacy for Sustainable Family Planning (FP) and Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (MNCH) Funding, convened by the Public Health Sustainable Advocacy Initiative (PHSAI) under the SASA Project.

SID Initiative was represented by our Programme Assistant as stakeholders across civil society, government, and the media came together to strengthen collaboration, align advocacy efforts, and push for sustainable financing and accountability in the health sector.

Conversations like these remain important in driving inclusive policies and improved access to quality healthcare for all.

Mary Oluwayemisi ~ “You have to come out and speak bold for yourself “

At our 3-day Capacity Building Training sponsored by under the GEF Project, Mary, one of our inspiring AGYWs with disabilities reminded us that inclusion creates opportunities for learning and relearning.

Through the carefully curated sessions, she gained valuable knowledge, built confidence, strengthened her voice, and connected with a community of woman.

These testimonials keep us going and we are grateful to for their support.

SID Initiative alongside Project Equal Care trained Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYWs) proudly participated in the Technical Working Group meeting of the Lagos State Ministry of Health at LCCI, Ikeja.

This is what intentional inclusion looks like creating spaces where young women are not just represented, but actively engaged in conversations and decisions that shape their future.

We appreciate the for supporting innovative initiatives that continue to amplify the voices of young women and ensure they have a seat at decision-making tables. Proud of our AGYWs for showing up, contributing meaningfully, and leading with confidence.

This impactful session was made possible with the support of , whose commitment to equipping young people with relevant knowledge continues to drive meaningful change.
