Divorce has now become almost the first point of resolution lately. This is not just about incompatibility, it is because the gospel of truth is being replaced with the gospel of materialism.

Marriage was never designed to be sustained by things. It is sustained by truth (the gospel of salvation), sacrifice, commitment, forgiveness, and the fear of God.

If we don’t return to truth, we will keep losing what we are trying to protect.

“Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.” Psalm 127:1 NKJV

This powerful passage of God’s word reminds me that true success in marriage, family, or any endeavor begins and stands only when God is at the center.

It’s possible to have the most beautiful home (by the lens of men), the best plans, and even the purest intentions yet still find things falling apart when the Lord isn’t the foundation. BUT WHEN GOD BUILDS, WHAT’S BUILT STANDS. WHEN HE GUARDS, WHAT’S GUARDED IS SAFE.

So as we step into this new month, may every marriage, every home, every dream, and every plan align with God’s blueprint.
May our love be rooted in His Word, not just in emotions.
May our conversations be seasoned with grace, not pride.
May peace rule our hearts and homes.

This month, let’s invite God to build with us not after us.
And let’s remember: it’s not about how perfect we are, but how present He is in our daily lives.

Here’s to a month of divine building, lasting love, and guarded homes under the shadow of the Almighty🥂

Doing life alone is not part of God’s design (Ps 68:6). As couples, we need each other and we need community. What is sweeter than passionately pursuing God’s design for marriage with like-minded couples?

During the Easter holiday, we had over some of the couples in our community to binge the series together. We had break out sessions in between each episode where we shared thoughts and prayed. It was such an enlightening and memorable night. We had so much fun and can’t wait to do this again soon.
