Citation in Honour of Pastor Lugard Temitope Oluwadero
The incumbent Zonal Superintendent, Christ Apostolic Church, Suurulere Zone, Ilorin
It is with profound honour and deep admiration that we present this citation in recognition of a distinguished servant of God, an exemplary leader, and a vessel of divine purpose — Pastor Isaac Lawson Lugard Oluwagbotemi Temitope Oluwamuyiwa Oluwadero.
Born on the 13th of November in the 1970s in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Pastor Lugard was born into a lineage of faith and spiritual heritage. He is the son of Late Pastor J.O. Oluwadero of the Awemo Dynasty, Oraye Quarters, Ise-Ekiti, and Late Deaconess D.B. Oluwadero of the Longẹ Royal Family Dynasty, Omodowa Quarters, Oye-Ekiti. Even before his birth, a vow was made dedicating him to the service of God — a divine covenant that has shaped the trajectory of his life and ministry.
Early Life and Academic Formation
Pastor Lugard began his primary education at St. Matthew’s CAC Primary School, Isalu-Idanre. Owing to the missionary assignments of his parents, he attended several reputable secondary institutions across Ondo and Ekiti States, including St. Joseph Catholic Grammar School, Odoode-Idanre; Moore High School, Afo-Ose; African Church Secondary School, Oka-Akoko; Ipe High School, Ipe-Akoko; and Ikogosi High School, Ikogosi-Ekiti.
He gained admission into Obafemi Awolowo University to study Law, aspiring to become a Supreme Court Solicitor. However, during the course of his academic pursuit, he encountered the unmistakable call of God upon his life. In obedience to that divine summons — and in alignment with the vow made by his parents — he surrendered fully to ministry.
He subsequently enrolled at the Christ Apostolic Church Theological Seminary, Ile-Ife (Kabba Campus), where he earned a Diploma in Theology. His pursuit of deeper ministerial and academic excellence led him to LIFE Seminary, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Studies. He also earned a Bachelor of Education in Guidance and Counselling from Ekiti State University (formerly University of Ado-Ekiti), a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from Joseph Ayo Babalola University, and additional qualifications in Leadership and Management Studies. He is currently completing a Master of Science in Counsellor Education at the University of Ilorin, with a Ph.D. in view. His academic journey reflects a rare blend of spiritual devotion and intellectual refinement.
Ministerial Calling and Journey
Pastor Lugard commenced full-time ministry in the year 2000 as an Evangelist at CAC Oke Ayo, Okoja Ikare-Akoko, in response to divine direction. In 2002, he was ordained as a Pastor under the authority of Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide.
Over the years, he has served faithfully in several assemblies, including CAC Comfort Chapel, Oke Itunu (Ado-Ekiti); CAC Revival Centre, Awedele (Ado-Ekiti); CAC Oke Alaafia; and CAC Oke-Ajasegun. In 2011, he pioneered Christ Apostolic Church, Spring of Living Waters, Ado-Ekiti — a vibrant ministry distinguished by its emphasis on the “3Ws”: Worship, Word, and Wonders.
In 2014, he was selected by the Mission Department of Christ Apostolic Church for international missionary training. Although global economic constraints delayed deployment, he continued to serve with excellence when transferred to CAC Oke Aanu, Ondo State, where he functioned as District Superintendent, leaving an enduring spiritual and administrative legacy.
In 2018, he was posted to CAC Oke Imole District Headquarters, Ado-Ekiti, where remarkable spiritual growth and infrastructural development were recorded under his leadership. In 2020, he became the third District Superintendent of CAC Oke Irapada, Basin Road, Ilorin. Through visionary leadership and determined stewardship, the church auditorium was completed and commissioned during the Church’s 30th Anniversary Celebration in 2023.
By divine appointment, Pastor Lugard was transferred to CAC Oke Iyin, Suurulere, Ilorin, assuming office as the third Zonal Superintendent of the Suurulere Zone on June 3, 2024, with official resumption on June 29, 2024. Since then, he has continued to serve with unwavering zeal, humility, and spiritual authority.
Leadership and National Influence
Pastor Lugard’s leadership extends beyond the pulpit. He served as Secretary of Ikeji 1 Conference Centre (2007–2017), overseeing operations across Ondo, Ekiti, Edo, and Delta States. He also served as Secretary of CACYOF Ekiti State Chapter (2007–2012).
His influence upon youths is profound and far-reaching. Through mentorship, discipleship, and strategic guidance, he has raised a generation of leaders now thriving in ministry, politics, the military, and the civil service. He is widely regarded as a mentor of destinies and a courageous voice for the voiceless.
Ministry Distinction and Humanitarian Impact
A prolific writer and eloquent preacher, Pastor Lugard is a highly sought-after conference speaker and campus minister. His message consistently proclaims Mercy, Grace, and the transformative Power of God to prosper, preserve, and promote His people. His life testifies that divine election operates by grace, not merely by human merit.
Beyond the pulpit, his compassion is practical and visible — caring for children, clothing the elderly, supporting the less privileged, educating orphans, and restoring hope to the discouraged.
Despite his extensive ministerial engagements and media outreach, he remains cultured and reflective, with an appreciation for Gospel, Highlife, Soul, and Country music.
Family Life
Pastor Lugard is joyfully married to Evangelist Oluwaseun Kikelomo Oluwadero (née Adebolu) of the Royal Family of Okesa, Ado-Ekiti. Their union is blessed with three divinely inspired children. Together, they model a Christ-centered home grounded in faith, love, and service.
Legacy and Enduring Words
A tireless labourer in God’s vineyard, Pastor Lugard lives by the conviction:
“We should all come — whether as senator or as janitor — to lay our crowns before Christ.”
He is a man of resilience who never abandons any vision aligned with God’s will.
Among his enduring exhortations is this powerful charge:
“Though there are opposing giants on your way, do not be afraid. Defy the hate, endure the opposition, and prevail against all odds. If God is backing you, no one can stop you.”
On this note, I hereby present Pastor Lugard Temitope Oluwadero to be decorated as one of the Regional Advisers of the R/S Babajide Regional Command, today 22nd of March 2026.
