YLLP OFFICIALLY BEGINS TODAY!

Today, we kick off the Youth Leadership & Livelihoods Program (YLLP) with the Leadership Foundations Course — a transformational phase designed to help young people build character, clarity, confidence, and leadership capacity.
Our first session focuses on helping participants gain a deeper understanding of themselves, recognize their uniqueness, and develop the self-awareness needed to grow into intentional and impactful leaders. Because true leadership starts from within, this conversation will lay the foundation for personal growth, purpose, and meaningful impact.
This is more than a program — it is the beginning of a journey toward becoming responsible, value-driven, and purpose-led leaders for Africa and beyond .

We are excited to announce the establishment of the Y-SIPS Youth Leadership Council (YLC).

This Council brings together passionate and forward-thinking young leaders who will provide insights, ideas, and strategic perspectives to strengthen the work of Y-SIPS.

At Y-SIPS, we believe that young people should not only benefit from development programs but also play an active role in shaping them. The Youth Leadership Council is a reflection of this belief, a powerful expression of our growth pipeline in action.

The members of this Council are exceptional young people who have journeyed with Y-SIPS as beneficiaries, participants, and supporters of our programs. Today, they step into leadership as co-creators, helping to shape the very platform that once shaped them.

This transition from participant to leader reinforces our commitment to not just raising beneficiaries, but building a thriving ecosystem of empowered young changemakers who continue to give back and lead forward.

Members of the Council will support Y-SIPS by advising on programs, promoting youth engagement, and serving as ambassadors for our mission.
