The SAMI team is headed by Ms. Oluwatoyin Ibidunni Adesola - is a certified health coach, a social entrepreneur, writer, speaker, and advocate. She is the founder and Executive Director of Sickle cell Advocacy and has firsthand knowledge of the challenges faced in living with the disorder. Touch a Cell (TAC),is a brand project of Sickle Cell Adv & Mgt Initiative SAMI, which focuses on awareness and advocacy by creating awareness on issues dealing with Sickle Cell. It therefore focuses on raising genotype awareness as well as advocating for better health care and breaking barriers with regards to general misconceptions on the issues of SCD through music, art, sports etc. By partnering with artist, celebrities, entertainers, fashion designers etc TAC is meant to create awareness and raise funds to assist those living with the disorder
