Today, we celebrate a life that exemplifies service, loyalty, and true brotherhood — Ekorian Prince Dr. Femi Olokodana — as he turns 60.

A Life of Distinguished Service
From his outstanding tenure as Assistant General Secretary 1, to his impactful leadership as IPP of the E83 Set, and now as the General Secretary of EKOBANA, Dr. Femi has remained a steady hand, a unifying voice, and a bridge-builder across generations of Ekorians. He doesn’t just occupy offices; he elevates them.

To speak of Prince Dr. Femi is to speak of these timeless truths:

EKOBA Inspires Future Leaders at Eko Boys’ High School 2026 Career Day

The management, staff, and students of Eko Boys’ High School (EBHS) witnessed an impactful and inspiring 2026 Career Day event held on Wednesday, 20th May 2026, at the prestigious Rev. Euba Memorial Hall within the school premises.

The event brought together accomplished professionals from diverse fields who shared valuable career insights, life experiences, and mentorship with the students, encouraging them to pursue excellence, discipline, and purposeful leadership in their future endeavors.

A major highlight of the event was the remarkable contribution of the Eko Boys’ High School Old Boys Association (EKOBA), whose distinguished members played prominent roles as guest speakers and mentors during the programme.

The four notable EKOBA members who served as speakers were:

• Professor Babatunde Akinsanya (E83)
• Dr. Alli Quadri (E84&85)
• Barrister Emeka Onyegbule (E84&85)
• Engr. Sunday Ojo (E89)

Each speaker delivered insightful presentations drawn from their professional journeys and personal experiences, emphasizing the values of hard work, integrity, academic excellence, innovation, and resilience.

Professor Babatunde Akinsanya charged the students to embrace continuous learning and strive for global competitiveness, while Dr. Alli Quadri encouraged them to remain focused and committed to their academic pursuits despite societal distractions.

Barrister Emeka Onyegbule enlightened the students on leadership, character development, and the importance of making informed life decisions, while Engr. Sunday Ojo inspired the audience with practical perspectives on technology, engineering, and emerging opportunities for young Nigerians in today’s evolving economy.
