The Rotary Club of Eko Atlantic has reached a milestone, marking a month since the commencement of its new Rotary Year under the leadership of Rtn Abhishek Srivastava phf as president for Rotary year 2025-2026.
Month of July, dedicated to Rotary Focus Area of Maternal and Child Health, saw the RC Eko Atlantic Board of Directors and Members spearhead a Medical Camp at the Bar Beach Police Station, targeting the Women and Children of Police Personnel on July 26, 2024.
The camp delivered comprehensive Health Checkup, Hepatitis B and C Screening, HIV screening, Hypertension, Diabetes and Hypertension testing, General Eye Checkup and Cataract Screening among others.
The Club Secretary Rtn Buchi Pacheco lead the arrangements from the front and ensured that the event was comfortable, entertaining and engaging which resulted in approximately 250 residents of the community benefiting from the Medical camp. She was supported by Club Executive Secretary Rtn Sylvia Olajide and Rtn Adeshola Bada.
The Event major sponsors were HealthxGlobalNetworks- Arogyam Multi-specialty Clinic in Victoria Island.
The Project was well Lead by Director and Chair Public Health Rtn Dr Alick Masih Co founder of HealthX Global Networks and Dr Anne Director and Co Chair Public Health and Medical Director at Ajao Estate Primary Health Care Center.
Our special thanks goes to the DPO Bar Beach Police Station Csp Grace Eburuaja who wholeheartedly supprted in encouraging the community to participate and was present physically to see through the success of the event supported by Inspector Iliyasu and other police personals from her team.
Last but not the least Kudos to all the RCEA members Rtn Piroj Nayak, Rtn Bridget, Treasurer Rtn ChandraShekhar, Rtn Amar, Rtn Preetika, Rtn Shiva, Rtn Wole Jide, PP Rtn Mamta, PP Rtn Melanta and Doyen Rtn Sanjeev Tandon who joined physically and Kudos to the entire club for a great event!!
