APPLICATION FOR NVCF 2025 IS NOW OPEN

The New Voices Citizen Fellowship (NVCF) is a citizen-participatory programme of the Raising New Voices Initiative geared towards encouraging and supporting citizens in the grassroots communities advocating for local community issues. The Fellowship will commence in March and end in November, 2025.

The Fellowship is designed to build a pool of young citizens with the skills to actively participate in politics and run for political office. They will also enhanced with the skills to demand good governance through democratic channels in their communities, state, and country.

Qualified young people living in Osun State between 18 and 30 years are invited to apply for the sixth cohort of the NVCF.

Requirements:
- Must be living in any of the Local Governments in Osun state
- Must be between 18 to 30 years
- Must be interested in Politics and passionate about leadership and social issues.

Girls and People With Disabilities (PWDs) are highly encouraged to apply.

Over the weekend, we had another exciting session of the NVCF Fellowship.

Hon. Adewumi Adeyemi, member representing Obokun State Constituency, facilitated a session on Legislative Processes and policy formulation. Exposing the fellows to various ways they influence legislation and policy formulation.

On day 2, Jude Feranmi facilitated the session on Leadership Development and Team Building.

The session was necessary to arm the fellows with the necessary qualities and skills of a leader as they themselves are aspiring leaders.
