Femme Aid Foundation (FAF) is a non-profit organisation based in Lagos, Nigeria offering support to the most vulnerable segment of the female folk with a strong commitment to the reduction of avoidable maternal and child mortality in Nigeria. FAF volunteers reproductive health information, consultation and counselling to women.
Our Aim: to reduce maternal and child mortality in Nigeria.
Our Methods:
- Social Media: Leveraging social media to provide sexual and physical health information, counselling, and awareness campaigns. - Onsite training: for sexual health educators, traditional birth attendants and community health extension workers in rural areas. - End to end antenatal care and support for indigent pregnant teenage girls and rehabilitation post-delivery (via skill acquisition and empowerment)
