“The Education Observatory: Shaping the Next Decade”

In a powerful and forward-thinking address, Ms. Omowunmi Akingbohungbe highlighted the urgent need to transform the education system through data, collaboration, and strategic action.

She introduced the Affordable and Inclusive Education Index (AIEI), revealing key insights:
📊 61% of teachers are uncertified
📊 93% desire certification
📊 67% need support

She emphasized that low remuneration and poor infrastructure remain major challenges, calling for stronger partnerships to better empower educators.

To drive lasting impact, she unveiled the Education Observatory, built on four core pillars:

🔹 Policy & Advocacy
🔹 Teacher & School Development
