Happy International Women’s Day to all my incredible warrior women and caregivers*

Today I want to specially celebrate the strength, courage, and resilience that lives inside each of you.

Living with sickle cell can sometimes feel exhausting; physically, emotionally, and mentally. There may be moments when you feel tired, discouraged, or like your body is fighting you.

But please remember this: you are stronger than you realize.

Your strength shows in every day you rise, every challenge you face, and every time you choose to keep going despite the pain.

You are not weak.
You are not forgotten.
You are powerful, beautiful, and deeply valued.

This year’s Women’s Day theme, Give to Gain, reminds us how important it is to support one another. And I want you to know that you are not alone. We stand together as a community.

Keep breathing, keep fighting, and keep believing in the beautiful life that still lies ahead of you.
