A Legacy of Excellence: Born from Leadership, Collaboration, and Commitment
====================
It is no surprise that the world has taken notice of the Award-Winning Trailblazer Dame Princess Adetope Tychus. Her mantle piece, adorned with numerous prestigious awards, is a physical reflection of a life dedicated to excellence.

Each accolade is more than just a trophy, or a medal, or an award plaque; it is a global and local validation of her grit, her sleepless nights, and her unwavering focus. Yet, despite the towering stack of awards, her greatest reward remains the visible, lasting transformations in the lives of the people she serves, and her continued growth and development of Lions Clubs International at the ongoing LCI Board Meeting in Gdańsk, Poland.

It is a great honour for Lion Princess Bridget Adetope Tychus, to serve alongside the distinguished members of the committee as they deliberate on matters that strengthen the governance, policies, and constitutional framework of our great organisation.

Her participation reflects the spirit of integrity, collaboration, accountability, and service that continues to guide Lions Clubs International.

Being the Voice for the Voice less, and championing Crucial Causes, her impact is felt deeply through the causes she champions. She has consistently thrown her weight behind initiatives that drive societal progress, advocate for the marginalised, and build a more equitable world. Her advocacy is not passive; it is active, strategic, and fierce, her voice has broken barriers and opened doors that were once firmly shut.

Together, they continue to contribute their wealth of experience, wisdom, and commitment towards building a stronger, more effective, and united Lions organisation, Serving with purpose. Leading with integrity.

To a phenomenal leader, an extraordinary volunteer, and an inspiration to generations of Lions and Leos yet unborn: thank you for showing us that it is entirely possible to lead with both power and grace. The world is undeniably brighter, kinder, and more forward-moving because of your work.

📰BREAKING NEWS!!📰
==================

HISTORIC MEMBERSHIP MILESTONE: 24,876 NET GAIN

Lions International Multiple District 404 Nigeria Surges to a cumulative membership gain of 24,876 as at 1st of July to kick-start the 2026 - 2027 LSY. This is a historic global achievement, and It's the first time since 1981 that we have recorded growth of this magnitude without a general fee-waiver policy. The last time global growth reached this level was four and a half decades ago (45 years to be precise)

Acknowledging MD404’s Appreciation; as at 30th of June 2026, gross gain was over 30,000, but after accounting for drops and cancelled Clubs which ranged up to 6,000, membership gain dropped from 30,000, so we closed at 24,876 net.

Africa leads the Charge, standing at 37,467 net growth, and ranks as the 3rd Constitutional Area globally in net membership gain. All thanks to you great Volunteers because this is a direct result of your service and commitment, which fuelled membership drive, and helped it officially skyrocket to levels we haven’t seen in decades!... Now our momentum is at an all-time high, and our community is growing faster than ever. This incredible milestone isn't just a number; it represents a massive wave of new energy, fresh ideas, and expanded connections across our network... "Mission 1.5 in perspective, and a Call to Action"

Quoting ID Dame Adetope Tychus who expressed excitement at this great achievement, she said; "I rise to salute our MD404 leadership through the CC, all DGs, DG Teams, and every Lion member who defied economic challenges, insecurity, leadership gaps, and other obstacles to deliver this result. Your resilience turned challenges into victory."

She went further by saying: "As we transfer the baton to the 2026-2027 Lions Year, it is my prayer that the incoming 26 - 27 officers will rise above, and raise the bar even higher."

She sealed it up by saying, "To God be the glory!... Congratulations to all Lions!"
