NOTIFICATION OF DEATH

The Ezzama Youth Assembly Lagos Branch regrets to announce the passing of our esteemed member, Double Chief Mathias Ezeh, who passed away on October 7, 2024, in Lagos.

As one of our key stakeholders, Chief Ezeh will be deeply missed by all. His death marks a significant loss, being the first for our union since its establishment in 2011.

His body has been deposited at General Hospital Onueke, his hometown, and further details regarding burial arrangements will be communicated in due time.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his immediate family and humbly request prayers for them and the entire EYA-LB during this challenging period. May God grant his soul eternal peace.

Ezzama Youth Assembly Lagos Branch Flagged Off it's empowerment program yesterday 5th November, 2023.

I presideded over the affairs of Ndi-Ezzama yesterday in Lagos on behalf of the president Mr Titus Uchechukwu Omedeh whom was out of the state, and some people were empowered with Five hundred thousand naira (N500,000) each to support their businesses through the Ezzama Youth Assembly Lagos Branch Empowerment Program. Other would be beneficiaries will be given one million naira (N1,000,000) each and others Five hundred thousand naira (N500,000) each in the second batch that will take place in February 2024.

The God giving president of Ezzama Youth Assembly Lagos Branch Mr Titus Uchechukwu Omedeh whose "Together We Move" mantra is centred on human capital development just like that of our dear state governor His Excellency Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru who is poised at empowering Ebonyians to be self-reliant through his "Peoples Charter of Needs" Agenda has put smiles on the faces of many yesterday and he was filled with joy while receiving my briefing earlier today in his office on his arrival in Lagos. And he said he won't get tired in touching lives positively.

The chairman of both the empowerment and medical outreach committee Mr Elom Frank Chinedu adviced the beneficiaries to utilize the money well in their business.

The beneficiaries who were thrown into joyous mode expressed excitement as they never saw it coming. They promised to use the money for the purpose it was given.

I equally released fund for the procurement of medical equipments for the upcoming medical outreach of the union to the chairman of the committee in line with the directive of the president Mr Omedeh.

Dr Polycap Emeka Nwonyi the new commissioner of police incharge of River State is one of us (ESDW), a proud son of Ezzama.

Your enviable attainment in the Nigeria police force didn't come to us as a surprise having distinguish yourself in your service to our father land, and it's a thing of joy to everyone especially most of us, your younger ones who look up to you.

Truly, your record speaks volume, and having been the first Ezzama man and Ezza Ezekuna in general to become a commissioner of police and subsequently head a state has propelled us to strive hard in achieving what we believe in regardless of where one comes from, yes, the greatness we all desire is in us and I must say that "you are not just a successful man but a great man".

Ezzama Youth Assembly Lagos Branch Congratulates CP Nwonyi.
This was contained in a statement of the unions Secretary General Comrade Michael Ndubuisi Nwuzor, which read. Last week, Ndi Ezzama in Lagos under "Ezzama Youth Assembly Lagos Branch" were at the CP's office E-Squad, Federal Force Headquarters, Alagbon, Lagos to congratulate one of us, our elder brother whom has been making us proud especially in the Nigeria police force, Dr Emeka Polycarp Nwonyi "CP", on his new promotion to the rank of Commissioner of Police.

The president Mr Titus Uchechukwu Omedeh alongside my humble self as the Secretary General and Chief Ezekiel Ekuma were joyfully received, and entertained as the promotion party also took place the same day.

The message and prayers of Ndi-Ezzama was conveyed to him and we had an engaging and interactive conversations with him and many other dignitaries in the party.

These past few days has been of great celebration to him as he had his birthday few days after and in days that followed, he was decorated by the Inspector General of Police.

Dear, elder brother, as you celebrate, I humbly congratulate and pray that you shall continue to celebrate and be celebrated all the days of your life; Cheers.

Prof Jonathan Aliede to host Members of EYALB Executive Council as he expressed his unalloyed gratitude on the completion and commissioning of their lock up shops at Nduwhu Ezzama.

The Patron in his message of appreciation said that the milestone achieved is a pointer that the union has clear vision, mission and direction; and charged the union to continue supporting their leadership for more achievements.

The message which read; I hereby express my unflinching and unalloyed gratitude for your remarkable and milestone outing of the commissioning of the lockup shops you build at Nduwhu Ezzama, on Sunday, April 17, 2022.

It is a pointer you have a clear vision, mission and direction and l urge you to be steadfast in your support for your leadership and that of Ezzama community.

With your committed and resilient organization, we can achieve more, more so as a united and focused people.

Continue to be a guiding light and example for others. The Almighty God will persistently guide, protect and provide for you, now and forever more.

The Patron whom expressed his readiness to continue his fatherly role to the union declared his invitation to the executive council when he received the General Secretary Comr Michael Ndubuisi Nwuzor and the President Mr Uchechukwu Titus Omede on what he termed presidential visit on April 18, 2022 at his Abakaliki residential home. The patron has scheduled to meet with the secretary of the Union St. Michael but to the surprise of the patron, he (The secretary) arrived with the president and a member Mr Shedrack Alobu.

The president and secretary in their respective speech during the visit said their visit was to show their appreciation to him which would stand as a unifying force with him "their role model" and promised that by God giving grace, Ezzama youth assembly lagos branch would explore all it's available means for the betterment of the members and the good of the community, Ezzama.

The patron whom is a Professor of mass communication, Director of Edo Study Center, NOUN and a critical stakeholder of Ezzama Kingdom urged the union to remain a guiding light and example for others.
