Today on Menstrual Hygiene Day, we reaffirm our commitment to providing at least 100 girls annually with a 3-month supply of sanitary pads.

Through our initiative, we have empowered over 600 girls, and educated just as many boys, in just 3 years. We won’t stop until period poverty is history.

Every single girl deserves dignity, education, and uninterrupted access to basic healthcare.Together, let's end the stigma.

We are building a GBV Support Register and we need your help! 🙏🏾

This is a community-informed list of organisations, shelters, hotlines, and safe spaces supporting survivors of gender-based violence across Nigeria.

We know resources exist beyond Lagos and Abuja and we need your help finding them.

If you know any trusted organisations or initiatives supporting survivors in your state or community, please share them with us.

Please send us a DM or fill the form via the link in bio.

For some, it is an act of devotion. For others, it is cultural. For some, it is empowering. For others, it is not a choice they have made.

What remains constant is this: women deserve the right to choose for themselves free from judgment.

In "Beyond the Hijab: The Right to Choose Without Judgment", Bella explores the meaning, complexity, and agency behind the hijab.

On Saturday, Her Story hosted its first Financial Literacy & Digital Savings Workshop in Lagos

With the support of , , , and the Anglican Church, we brought together a community ready to learn, unlearn, and take charge of their financial futures.

From practical sessions on money management to exploring digital savings tools, the room was filled with curiosity, growth, and powerful conversations.

We are deeply grateful to our sponsors, partners, volunteers, and every attendee who made this possible.

Financial literacy is a powerful tool for women’s empowerment and we believe that when women are empowered, generations are preserved.

And yes, the men were part of the conversation too, because achieving gender equality takes all of us, working together.

Here’s a glimpse of what we created together

Hearing directly from the women we serve is always the most powerful part of the work

In this video, one of our participants shares her experience from the Financial Literacy & Digital Savings Workshop and what the session meant for her journey toward financial independence.

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do, creating spaces where women can learn, grow, and take control of their financial futures.

We are grateful for every voice, every story, and every step forward

Still reflecting on the energy, conversations, and impact from our Financial Literacy & Digital Savings Workshop

From practical sessions on money management and savings discipline to hands-on guidance on digital financial tools, this was more than just a workshop, it was a step toward building financial confidence and inclusion for women in our community.

Grateful to our amazing speakers, partners, sponsors, and volunteers who made this possible and to every participant who showed up ready to learn, engage, and grow.
