_*NYCN AGBADO/OKE-ODO LOCAL CHAPTER HOLDS FIRST MANAGEMENT MEETING — 2026*_

Today, the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Lagos State Chapter, Agbado/Oke-Odo Local Chapter, today held its first Management Meeting of the year 2026.

The meeting, themed *“Youth, Hustle, and the Law: Navigating Survival Without Losing Integrity,”* focused on addressing the realities facing young people while reinforcing the importance of ethical conduct, civic responsibility, and structured participation in governance.

The session brought together members of the executive cabinet, representatives from the Legislative Arm, as well as delegates from various Voluntary Youth Organizations (VYOs) and Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) within the community.

The meeting provided a strategic platform to align leadership direction and strengthen youth structures at the grassroots level.

*Key Highlights of the Meeting:*

• Youth participation in governance
• Voter registration and civic responsibility
• Ethical leadership and discipline within youth bodies
• Revalidation/Validation exercise for VYOs and CBOs

Deliberations emphasized the need for young people to pursue economic survival and personal advancement without compromising integrity, while also encouraging active engagement in democratic and community processes.

We remain committed to fostering responsible leadership, strengthening youth institutions, and building a disciplined and empowered youth constituency for sustainable community development.
