Did you know?
Over 37 million women in Nigeria do not have access to sanitary products, and girls make up over 60% of out-of-school children, largely due to period poverty. Many are forced to use tissues, cotton wool, or even leaves to manage their periods.
Welcome to another impactful session of Let’s Talk Period! with 🩸✨
We’re excited to spotlight a passionate young changemaker who blends culture, lifestyle, and purpose — Chidera Ugwokaegbe .
Content Creator | Nursing Graduate | Public Health Advocate
Chidera is known for sharing culture and lifestyle with a touch of humor and confidence. As a recent nursing graduate, she is deeply passionate about public health, education, service, and leadership, and believes everyone deserves access to quality healthcare.
After a personal experience during her visit to Nigeria last year, she is now using her platform to raise funds to support and enhance a medical centre back home, turning her experience into a mission to improve healthcare access.
In this session, she’ll speak on menstrual health, access to care, and the role of young people in improving health outcomes for girls and women.
