His life shaped values, strengthened communities, and inspired a way of thinking that continues to guide the work and the people he left behind.

Today, we honour a leader and visionary whose influence extends far beyond institutions or programmes. His legacy lives in minds awakened, standards raised, and lives changed by example. Ten years on, the impact continues, steady and enduring.

Digital violence is a serious form of gender-based violence. We all have a role to play in protecting privacy and promoting respect online. Let's unite to make the internet a place where women and girls can thrive without fear.
