WEMA BANK MD, MORUF OSENI, HONOURED WITH LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL MELVIN JONES FELLOWSHIP AWARD

LAGOS, NIGERIA – Honoring those who serve humanity involves recognizing their selfless dedication, legacy, and impact on the common good, thereby inspiring future generations... Lion (Dr) Ibrahim 'Jide Bello, PMJF, NLCF, the Immediate Past District Governor, and current Council Chairperson, MD 404 Nigeria, alongside the 404B3 District Governor Lion Adelaja Adeleye PMJF NLCF, both had the distinct honour of presenting the Melvin Jones Fellowship (MJF) — the highest recognition of Lions Clubs International — to Moruf Oseni, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Wema Bank Plc.

The MJF is usually bestowed upon individuals whose humanitarian services and commitment to community development have made significant, and lasting impacts. Mr. Oseni was recognised for his visionary and exemplary leadership, dedication to corporate social responsibilities, and efforts in advancing initiatives that improve lives across Nigeria.

Commenting on the award, The MCC Lion (Dr) 'Jide Bello said: “It is a privilege to present this honour to Mr. Oseni, whose leadership exemplifies the spirit of service that Lions Clubs International celebrates worldwide. His commitment to community development and social impact is truly inspiring.
