HER SON DELIVERED FROM INSTANT DEATH...She is quite elderly. She came for a meeting and the Holy Spirit led us to concentrate on praying for our spouses and sons. At first, she was not pleased because she had many daughters too. Later in the night, she laid awake in bed unable to sleep. She picked up her Bible and started revising the prayer points in her notebook. Later, she prayed in tongues for
some time. She realized she dozed off at intervals but she still prayed all the same. Two days later, she had every reason to praise the Lord. That day, her son went out with a friend who had just bought a brand new car. They picked two other friends to go with them for the celebration. They chose Obalende - a place in the city to go for locally smoked meat and chicken called 'suya'. The car was packed by the road side. They strolled to the 'suya' seller and chatted while it was being prepared. One of them looked up and noticed a car coming down the street being driven abnormally. It seemed as if the driver could not control it. One of the friends suggested that the new car should be parked somewhere safer. The new owner did while that car drove past. Soon, another car occupied where the new car had been driven out of. Half an hour later, a trailer lost control as it came down the slope and rammed into the car. Apart from the damage to the car, all the passengers were killed. The gentlemen were stunned as they imagined what would have happened if they had not re-parked the new car. Without waiting to collect the 'suya' they had pre-paid for, they drove off amidst songs of praises. The son called his mother to narrate his experience and she replied, 'now, I know why!' God had used her prayers for her son to deliver him from possible death! FW
HE TOUCHED MY PRAYER LIFE! She is a widow. She thanked God for the opportunity to be a member of this ministry. She has continued to enjoy a spiritual uplifting through the emphasis on the Word of God. She is not idle. She prays and really enjoys her prayer times as she is able to fellowship with God as well as intercede for her local assembly, her children and the Body of Christ and she sees results. Above all she enjoys reading the Word of God and being His presence. Now she enjoys taking all things to God in prayer. GOD IS NOT REACTIVE! They were now both advanced in years and retired. She went into a private line of business but the challenges were enormous. She joined the ministry and started committing her affairs into the hands of God. One day, the landlord came to ask for the rent. Before the members of the family could panic, she assured them that God would come through for them. She checked her savings over time and was surprised to see that in her seeming unmindful way, she had been able to save so much than the needed amount!
