Designing the Next Generation of ADR Systems for the Twenty-First Century:
Encouraging innovative proposals for improving accessibility, efficiency, and fairness in dispute resolution.

On Tuesday, 9 June 2026, the President of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (NICArb), Prof. Fabian Ajogwu, OFR, SAN, represented by Okechukwu Ekweanya, Partner at KENNA, alongside the Registrar/CEO, Shola Oshodi-John, lent their voices to the conversation at the NBA Law Week held at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island.

They joined fellow thought leaders for a panel on "Arbitration as a Profit Centre: Building Nigeria’s ADR Community", offering practical perspectives on the growing role of arbitration in strengthening Nigeria’s dispute resolution landscape.

It was a timely exchange on the opportunities and responsibilities shaping the future of ADR in Nigeria.
