NICArb Officials Pay Courtesy Visit to Punch Newspapers

The Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (NICArb) paid an official visit to Punch Newspapers PUNCH Newspapers, led by the Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Williams Odah, alongside members of the Institute’s leadership and team.

In no particular order, the delegation comprised Mr. Stanley Chukwu, Miss Praise Orah, Mr. Muyiwa Odubela, Miss Peace Adeleye, and Mr. Taiwo Santos.

The visit featured an engaging discourse with Punch officials on the 2026 NICArb Annual Conference, highlighting its distinctive theme, key sessions and speakers, as well as exploring opportunities for collaboration and partnership in the near future.

Mr. Ibrahim Magaji is a seasoned legal and corporate governance professional with extensive experience in banking, corporate legal practice, administration, and alternative dispute resolution. He currently serves as Company Secretary and Legal Adviser at Aluminium Smelter Company of Nigeria PLC (ALSCON), bringing his legal expertise to corporate governance and commercial dispute resolution. He is also a recipient of fellowship Award from Eagle Island Independent Baptist Seminary, Port Harcourt

The Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (NICArb) paid an official visit to The Guardian Newspapers, led by the Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Williams Odah, alongside members of the Institute’s leadership and team.

The delegation included Mr. Stanley Chukwu, Head of Accounts; Mrs. Aanuoluwapo Omoloju, Chairperson, NICArb Lagos Branch; Mrs. Tawakalitu Toriola, Chairperson, Planning and Logistics Committee; Miss Praise Orah, Senior Project Officer; and Mr. Taiwo Santos, Brand and Communications Officer.

On behalf of the President, the Governing Council, Management, and Members of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (NICArb), we proudly celebrate Chief Oluwole Olanipekun, CFR, SAN, FCArb, on the remarkable occasion of his 50th anniversary at the Nigerian Bar.

Fifty years at the Bar is more than a milestone. It is a testament to a life defined by excellence, integrity, scholarship, courageous leadership, and an unwavering commitment to justice.

Throughout five decades of distinguished legal practice, Chief Olanipekun has risen beyond the courtroom to become an institution within the Nigerian legal profession. His contributions to advocacy, legal scholarship, professional leadership, mentorship, and the advancement of justice have inspired generations of lawyers and left an enduring mark on the Bar.

As a former President of the Nigerian Bar Association and a distinguished member of the legal profession, his career reflects not only exceptional advocacy but also a deep commitment to strengthening institutions, upholding professional values, and nurturing the next generation of legal practitioners. His influence continues to extend across the legal profession and the broader justice sector.
