The grins on their faces, the twinkle that lights up their eyes, the small talks about having a new born and the big talks about antenatal, delivery and post delivery care.

We are making change happen for women and children in Nigeria 🙂

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed a lot about our work, how we interact with health workers as well as the thousands of woman we serve across rural communities but our mission remains the same.

The location of a woman at childbirth as well as her economic status in life must never be a factor in determining whether a woman lives or dies at childbirth.

We are here to make that positive change happen for mother’s and their babies everywhere ❤️

In every crisis, children are the most affected.

Every deviant from the norm including the ongoing climate change affects their health, access to clean water, clean food and access to infrastructure critical to their physical and mental wellbeing such as schools, healthcare centers, and good transportation.

Debilitating diseases such as malaria, diarrhea, cholera which are also aggravated by climate change pose a threat to vulnerable groups such as pregnant women and under 5 children.

It is our collective responsibility as individuals to ensure our environment is safe, secure and healthy. We can do more to save our environment.

Capacity strengthening of human resource for health, especially in rural communities where limited skilled care is available cannot be overemphasized.

Brown Button Foundation commits to ensuring that as many communities as possible can access quality maternal healthcare when needed through continuous training for community health workers and birth attendants.
