Hope Inspired Foundation

Hope Inspired Foundation we work with young people particularly women/girls and Youth. We are a group of young people driven by the desire for change, productivity and impact.

we work with young people particularly women/girls and marginalized groups such as, young mothers and People With Disabilities (PWDs) in schools, the community within the ages of 15-35. to give them a voice and create space for them, strengthening their capacity to maximize their potentials through information, education, and independent living. We conduct workshops and training to build their per

sonal and leadership skills, provide information on reproductive & sexual health, HIV/AIDS, Cancer, economic independence,, counseling, provide a mentoring program, and influence policies/laws affecting them through advocacy. We also provide a safe space for young people to share experiences and knowledge or information about opportunities and build informed networks. Motivated by personal experiences and a local context that is increasingly dis-empowering, our primary aim is to provide a platform for the promotion of the well-being and protection of the rights of young women /girls and youth. Standing against discrimination and social exclusion, the organization functions in five thematic areas:
(A) Economic Empowerment and Livelihood. (B) Reproductive Health and Rights. (C) HIV/AIDS and Cancer. (D) Education. (E) Leadership and advocacy across all these themes. These thematic areas have been chosen because they feature highly on the agenda of the Foundation. We initiate a framework to share best practices and build collaborative networks with community members and other organizations fighting for social transformation at local, national and international levels.

Today our Lagos team joined JonapwdNational at the one day validation meeting on Local government policy framework for PWDs in Lagos. It was an incredible time seeing our partnership with Jonapwd Lagos to bring this framework to the local government level gradually coming into place.
