PRESS STATEMENT
LET THERE BE TEACHERS CONDEMNS CONTINUED ABDUCTION OF CHILDREN, CALLS FOR URGENT GOVERNMENT ACTION
Let There Be Teachers strongly condemns the continued kidnapping and abduction of children across different parts of Nigeria, describing the disturbing trend as a tragic reflection of the worsening insecurity confronting the nation.
The increasing attacks on schools, communities, and innocent children have created fear among families, disrupted education, and endangered the future of thousands of young Nigerians.
It is unacceptable that children who should be learning in safe classrooms and growing in secure communities are instead being exposed to violence, trauma, and captivity.
We call on the Federal Government, security agencies, and relevant authorities to take immediate and decisive steps towards rescuing abducted children, improving intelligence gathering, securing schools, and ensuring that those responsible for these criminal acts face justice.
The safety of children must never be treated as a secondary issue. Every delay in action further weakens public confidence and places more lives at risk.
At Let There Be Teachers, we maintain that protecting children and guaranteeing access to safe education must remain a national priority. No society can build a meaningful future while its children live in fear.
We stand in solidarity with affected families and communities and continue to advocate for a Nigeria where every child can learn, dream, and thrive in safety.
