Through our programs and initiatives, we plan to become the nation’s foremost capacity-building and business support organization for the creative sector and a key driver in the acceleration of the Nigerian creative economy. Enterprise Creative is a social enterprise providing business support services and professional development for aspiring, emerging and established creative entrepreneurs and p
ractitioners. Our mission is to strengthen and build capacity in the Nigerian creative industries by providing training and support as well as professional development programs to creative entrepreneurs and professionals. Enterprise Creative has hosted and continues to host key events to promote business and professional opportunities in the creative sector. Our events include the Creative Careers Fair held in July 2010, the Forum for Financing Creative Business in April 2012, and the Freelance Fridays Clinic which started in 2012 and continues to hold every month. Enterprise Creative was also responsible for producing the 2013 & 2014 Creative Industries Expo, an initiative of the British Council Nigeria which brought together Nigerian Creative industry stakeholders for a 2–day discussion and debate on measures to develop talent, best practices, case studies and different approaches to building professional, technical and business capacity across the diverse creative industries. In the long run, we hope that the social impact of our work will result in an increase in the chances of success for creative businesses; create new jobs; create new businesses; improve the professional outlook and output of creative workers, and enhance the productivity and economic sustainability of the creative industries. The development of a more robust creative sector will contribute to the growth of the broader economy and help attract more talent, trade and investment to Nigeria.
