YOU ARE SPECIALLY INVITED TO DAAC ITIRE 2026

The King Ogunremi Foundation (KOF), in collaboration with its esteemed partners and stakeholders, cordially invites all residents of Itire community, Ward J, including traditional leaders, religious leaders, youth groups, community associations, market men and women, artisans, students, parents, and all well-meaning members of the public to attend the Drug Abuse Awareness Campaign (DAAC ITIRE 2026).

Drug abuse remains one of the greatest challenges facing our young people and communities today. DAAC ITIRE 2026 seeks to bring together people of all faiths, backgrounds, and generations to promote awareness, prevention, mentorship, and collective action against substance abuse.

The event will feature:
Drug abuse awareness and prevention talks.
Community dialogue and engagement.
Youth mentorship and empowerment.
Inspirational speakers and special guests.
Entertainment and networking opportunities.
Presentation of community initiatives aimed at building a safer and healthier Itire.

This programme is free and open to everyone.
Together, we can protect our young people, strengthen our families, and build a safer and more prosperous Itire community.

Itire Connect (IC) and Itire Youth Community Empowerment Initiative are pleased to announce a strategic collaboration aimed at promoting unity, youth empowerment, and sustainable community development across Itire.

United by a shared vision of building a stronger and more prosperous community, both platforms will work together to connect residents, support local initiatives, promote social inclusion, and create opportunities for young people and businesses within Itire.

OFFICIAL LAUNCH OF ITIRE CONNECT
One Neighbourhood, One Family

The King Ogunremi Foundation is proud to officially launch ITIRE CONNECT, a community platform created to unite residents across every street, close, avenue, and road within Ward J, Itire, Surulere, Lagos State.

ITIRE CONNECT is founded on the belief that a stronger community is built when neighbours become family. The platform will serve as a hub for community engagement, information sharing, local development, youth empowerment, social support, and collaboration among residents, businesses, faith organisations, and community stakeholders.

Through this initiative, we seek to strengthen community bonds, promote peaceful coexistence, celebrate our diversity, and create opportunities that will improve the quality of life for everyone living in Itire.

The launch of ITIRE CONNECT marks the beginning of a new chapter of unity and collective responsibility, where every resident has a voice and every street is connected for the common good.
