It is an organized Non Governmental Organization and Independent Educational advancement forum established with a common cause to liberate and empower children of all classes towards educational advancement and from limitations from success deficiency syndromes in life. In other words, MEAN seeks to free Children in irrespective of their religion and background from the oppressive bo***ge of mass

illiteracy and that of the inferior complexity. We are educational based movement which vision is primarily to connect the schools, communities and government as instruments of educational advancement in Nigeria. We are not machinery to any political parties or an affiliation to any government agencies in Nigeria or outside Nigeria. And our mission is not to point out any accusing finger to the government and other agents of educational advancement but to be an instrument of change and be a link between the government and community in eradication of mass illiteracy in Nigeria. We are not a Non Government Organization established to criticizing governments, communities and school management in Nigeria or discuss issues or problems relating to education and children trafficking in Nigeria but a body which takes necessary steps in making the future a reality for our children. And finally we are out to reach the children and catch them young in making their future a reality. THE FORMATION OF MEAN: with MEAN a future is guarantee! We are out to engaging people in eradicating mass illiteracy in Nigeria. The Group is a composition of diverse groups in the community with the interest of improving the education system in Nigeria and eradicating of mass illiteracy in Nigeria. It is a gender balance organization that believes in collective ideas of the members. And the following are constitute members of the MEAN: a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, a person of proven integrity, interested person that believes in the future of Nigeria children and ready to serve voluntarily. THE OPERATION OF MEAN: The Educational Advancement Movement in Nigeria (TEAM) is the body that manages the activity of mean. And the body comprises of the Leader, a secretary, Financial Secretary and a treasurer.
