Dayo Amusa has carved her own path in the world of humanitarian work through the Dayo Amusa Foundation. This foundation has become a driving force for positive change, particularly in Southwest Nigeria.
Her journey in the humanitarian field began long before the establishment of her foundation.

For over a decade, Dayo Amusa Foundation has been instrumental in supporting and positively impacted the lives of women and children across Nigeria through economic empowerment initiatives, education scholarships, and advocacy for policy reforms in healthcare, inclusive governance, and beyond.

We look forward to deepening our partnership, support and collaboration with other organizations of like minds.

Breast cancer awareness is a global health campaign aimed at increasing knowledge and awareness about breast cancer.
It typically takes place during October, which is known as
“Breast Cancer Awareness Month”

The goal of this campaign is to promote early detection, encourage regular breast self-exams and mammograms, and raise funds for research and support for those affected by breast cancer.

Pink ribbons are a common symbol associated with breast cancer awareness and many organizations and individuals participate in various events and activities to show their support for the cause. It’s important to be informed about the risks, symptoms, and available screenings for breast cancer to improve early diagnosis and treatment outcomes...

NOTE: Many people, including women, are not aware that breast cancer is the most common cancer caused by alcohol and smoking among women globally.

URGENT: Cholera Outbreak Alert 🚨

There is an ongoing outbreak of cholera and here are a few things you need to know to protect yourself and your loved ones.

🚨 What is Cholera?

Cholera is a bacterial infection that affects the intestines, leading to severe diarrhea and dehydration.

🚨 How does it spread?

1. Drinking contaminated water
2. Eating contaminated food
3. Fatigue

🚨 What are the symptoms?

1. Profuse watery diarrhea
2. Vomiting
3. Dehydration
4. Rapid heart rate
5. Low blood pressure
6. Fatigue

🚨 How can Cholera be prevented?

1. Drink only boiled or purified water
2. Wash your hands with soap and clean water regularly, especially before eating
3. Ensure proper disposal of waste
4. Avoid raw or undercooked food

🚨 How can Cholera be treated?

• Cholera can result in death rapidly if not properly treated. If you suspect cholera, take oral rehydration therapy (ORT) to replace lost fluids and electrolytes and seek medical help immediately.

Our collective actions in the coming days are crucial in containing and overcoming this outbreak.
