Give your child a day outdoors they’ll actually remember. 🌿🐢

Kids + Nature: A Date with Nature is designed to get children away from screens and into a fun, hands-on experience where they can explore, play, learn about wildlife and connect with nature.

From a guided wildlife experience and sanctuary tour to games, creative activities and our Save the Turtle Egg and Plastic Recycle Relay challenges, it’s a full day of learning without it feeling like a classroom.

At Lekan Bakare Foundation, we support Blue School advocacy because we believe ocean awareness should start early. When young people understand the ocean, the challenges affecting it and how their everyday choices connect to the environment, they are better equipped to care for it.

We’re pleased to welcome Mr. Habib Ademola of the Nigerian Institute for Oceanography and Marine Research (NIOMR) as a facilitator for this weekend’s Ocean Youth Academy learning session.

He’ll be leading Module 2 on Oceans and Climate regulation, helping our Changemakers deepen their understanding of the links between climate change, coastal systems and marine environments.

He’ll be joining our Changemakers for Module 2 on oceans and climate regulation, bringing valuable insight from his work in ocean acidification, coastal carbon chemistry and marine science.
