Sandra Chukwudozie is a visionary Nigerian entrepreneur, clean energy advocate, and the Founder & CEO of Salpha Energy, a company revolutionizing access to affordable solar power across Africa.

With a degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Manchester and a Master’s in International Oil & Gas Management from the University of Dundee, Sandra’s journey reflects both academic excellence and practical innovation.

Her early experience at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and UN Headquarters shaped her passion for sustainable development and energy inclusion.

Through Salpha Energy, Sandra has provided reliable solar solutions to more than 1.5 million Nigerians, with a mission to reach millions more. Recognized as one of Forbes Africa’s 30 Under 30 in 2022, she continues to inspire young Africans, especially women to embrace innovation, leadership, and social impact.

Sandra believes that access to clean energy is more than a service, it’s a path to dignity, opportunity, and empowerment.

Meet our Spotlight Woman for the Week ✨ TY Bello – The Woman Who Turns Stories Into Light

Ms. Bello is a singer, photographer, and humanitarian whose journey beautifully embodies purpose in motion.

From blessing us with “The Land Is Green” — a song that stirs hope in God and in our beloved nation, Nigeria — to capturing timeless portraits, she tells stories that both heal and inspire.

One truly remarkable and spotlight-worthy act was her 2015 discovery of Olajumoke Orisaguna, a bread seller who accidentally walked into her street photo shoot in Lagos. That single moment changed Olajumoke’s life forever — transforming her into a professional model and inspiring countless others.

More than a photographer, TY Bello is a builder of people, using her art to reveal beauty, destiny, and light in others. Truly, a woman of faith and purpose.
