For the past four years, we have remained committed to restoring dignity, promoting menstrual hygiene, and supporting vulnerable women and girls through impactful outreach and pad distributions. This year, we are proud to mark the 5th edition of our Menstrual Pad Drive. A milestone of compassion, consistency, and community impact.

Menstrual Pad Drive 5.0 is focused on reaching incarcerated women and girls with 1,000 sanitary pads because every woman deserves access to safe menstrual hygiene regardless of her circumstances. Through this initiative, we continue to advocate for dignity, inclusion, and care for underserved communities.

As we celebrate five years of impact, we invite individuals, organizations, and partners to join us in making this year even bigger. Your support, donations, and advocacy can help us reach more lives and create lasting change.

The Inclusion Project convened a high-level Justice Sector Dialogue in Kano State focused on examining the impact of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) on girls’ access to and retention in education.

The dialogue brought together key stakeholders across the justice and education sectors, including representatives from the Ministry of Justice, the Nigeria Police Force, prosecutorial and judicial officers, education authorities, and civil society organizations. Notably, the event was attended by the Honourable Attorney General of the State, as well as a distinguished representative from the Emirate Council, reflecting strong institutional commitment to addressing SGBV. The dialogue also received media coverage from Arise News, amplifying its reach and significance.

Participants further examined the direct and indirect effects of SGBV on girls’ education, noting that incidents of abuse often lead to trauma, stigmatization, absenteeism, and ultimately school dropout. These factors significantly undermine efforts to ensure safe, inclusive, and equitable learning environments for girls..

Our recent community engagement at Achi Mbeiri was a powerful moment of learning, sharing, and empowerment. Girls were enlightened on issues surrounding Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), while also gaining valuable insights into personal development, self-worth, and confidence building.

Through open conversations and interactive sessions, we continue to create safe spaces where young girls can speak up, stay informed, and grow into empowered individuals ready to shape their future.
