As we celebrate Nigeria's Independence Day, we are reminded that true nationhood is not measured by years alone, but by the safety, dignity, and opportunities available to every citizen.
Today, many Nigerians continue to face economic hardship, insecurity, displacement, unemployment, and barriers to quality education and healthcare. Families are struggling, communities are grieving, and too many children are growing up without the protection and opportunities they deserve.

At The Inclusion Project, we believe that a stronger Nigeria is built when no one is left behind. We call on government at all levels to prioritize the security of lives, invest in education and healthcare, protect the rights of women and children, and create pathways for meaningful economic opportunities for all.

BRING BACK OUR SCHOOL CHILDREN AND TEACHERS
It has been over 14 days since school children and their teachers were abducted from schools in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State. Families continue to wait, classrooms remain empty, and communities are living in fear and uncertainty.

Every passing day is a painful reminder that these children deserve to be learning, dreaming, and growing safely in school, not living in captivity. Education should never become a pathway to danger.

We call on all relevant authorities to intensify efforts and ensure the safe and immediate return of every child and teacher still in captivity. Their lives matter. Their futures matter. Their families deserve answers.

Today, we join the world in celebrating Menstrual Hygiene Day by advocating for dignity, awareness, and access to menstrual health for every girl and woman.

At the Inclusion Project, we remain committed to breaking the stigma around menstruation, promoting menstrual health education, and supporting vulnerable girls and women with sanitary products and safe spaces for conversations.

As we celebrate the joy, dreams, and potential of every child today, our hearts are also with the kidnapped children in Ikoyi-Ile, Oyo State. No child deserves to be taken away from the safety of their home, their education, and the love of their families. 💔

Children are the future of our communities and nation. Their laughter, dreams, and innocence must be protected at all costs. We call on the government and relevant authorities to intensify efforts to ensure the safe return of these children back to their homes and parents.

For the past four years, we have remained committed to restoring dignity, promoting menstrual hygiene, and supporting vulnerable women and girls through impactful outreach and pad distributions. This year, we are proud to mark the 5th edition of our Menstrual Pad Drive. A milestone of compassion, consistency, and community impact.

Menstrual Pad Drive 5.0 is focused on reaching incarcerated women and girls with 1,000 sanitary pads because every woman deserves access to safe menstrual hygiene regardless of her circumstances. Through this initiative, we continue to advocate for dignity, inclusion, and care for underserved communities.

As we celebrate five years of impact, we invite individuals, organizations, and partners to join us in making this year even bigger. Your support, donations, and advocacy can help us reach more lives and create lasting change.
