By focusing on hands-on learning, participants are guided through the fundamentals of garment construction, design thinking, fabric knowledge, and machine handling,transforming creativity into a reliable source of livelihood. The approach is practical, market-relevant, and built around real production experience rather than theory alone.

Beyond learning how to sew, participants gain confidence, discipline, and entrepreneurial insight.
They begin to see tailoring not just as a craft, but as a pathway to income generation, self-reliance, and long-term stability.

As we marked International Women’s Day, we went beyond celebration to honor the resilience, insight, and influence of women who are shaping economies, strengthening communities, and redefining the future with courage and purpose.

This month also reflected our commitment to impact and intentionality. In the spirit of the International Day of Happiness, we connected with the heart of our community in Surulere, joining LAWMA workers to celebrate their dedication.
