🚐🌅 IT STARTED WITH A JOURNEY… AND ENDED WITH MANY SMILES. 🦷💙

Before the tents went up, before the chairs were arranged, before the first patient walked in… our volunteers were already on the move.

From the early morning drive to Igando, to setting up the outreach stations, preparing the equipment and getting everything ready, you could already feel that something special was about to happen. 🙌🏽

Then the community came alive.

🦷 Dental screenings and consultations
✨ Scaling, polishing and preventive care
📚 Oral health education for children
🗣️ Oral health sensitization for adults
🪥 Oral care kit distribution
💙 Conversations, referrals, laughter and plenty of smiles

Children learned how to care for their teeth. Adults got the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about their oral health. Our dental team provided care, while volunteers worked behind the scenes to keep everything moving.

And somewhere between the procedures, the education, the questions and the laughter, something beautiful happened…

SMILES. Lots and lots of them. 😁💙

This wasn’t just a day at an outreach.

It was a journey from preparation to service, from education to action, and from care to impact.

We’re excited to officially announce a strategic partnership between Oral Health Africa Initiative (OHAI) and KinderSmile Foundation! KinderSmile Foundation 🦷🌍

This partnership brings together a shared commitment to advancing child focused oral health, strengthening access to quality oral healthcare and creating sustainable solutions for communities.

Together, we’ll explore opportunities across community dental care, school and community programmes, capacity building, research and evaluation, digital innovation, resource mobilization and cross border collaboration.

But beyond the programs and projects, this partnership is about one thing: creating healthier smiles and stronger communities across Africa. 💙

What a day! What an impact! What a beautiful reminder of what can happen when people come together for a shared purpose. 🙌🏽

The Oral Health Mega Rural Outreach 2026 brought OHAI, Cephas and Colgate together in Igando to take oral healthcare closer to the community.

From education and screenings to consultations, preventive care and dental services, the day was filled with care, connection and plenty of smiles. 🦷😁

A huge thank you to our partners, volunteers, dental professionals, supporters and everyone who showed up and made the outreach possible.

This was more than an outreach. It was a day of impact. 💙

🎒🦷 BACK TO SCHOOL 2.0 WAS A SUCCESS! 💙🎉

What a beautiful day of learning, laughter and healthier smiles! 😁✨

OHAI x Cephas took the Back to School Oral Health Campaign to Durable Foundation School, Alimosho, bringing oral health education closer to the children and teachers.

From interactive sessions and fun questions to oral care kit distribution and training for teachers, it was a day filled with knowledge, engagement and impact. 🪥📚💙

The children showed up, participated and even put their new knowledge into action! 👏🏽
