Jyreh foundation is a non-profit organisation devoted to helping widows and vulnerable children. We at Jyreh foundation refuse to look the other way.

The foundation was established to care for, protect, and improve the quality of lives of widows and orphans. We believe every child should have access to the basics; shelter, food, quality education, and medical care. And help the widows in establishing their trade and/or entrepreneurial ideas in other for them to support their immediate families. We will not abandon the Widows, Orphans, and other venerable people in society.

Behind every vulnerable widow is a story of loss, loneliness, silent struggles, and the daily fight to survive. While many people move on after the funeral, countless widows are left to face emotional pain, financial hardship, rejection, and uncertainty alone.

At Jyreh Foundation, we believe widows deserve more than temporary sympathy; they deserve love, dignity, support, and hope for a better tomorrow. Our commitment is to stand with vulnerable widows through empowerment, care, support initiatives, and compassionate outreach that reminds them they are not forgotten.

Update on Anu 💔

After a second medical review, doctors confirmed that Anu’s left eye is no longer functioning and may rupture if urgent action isn’t taken. To protect her right eye, surgery has been recommended to remove the damaged one.

Her family has chosen to go ahead with the surgery, which costs ₦1,000,000.

We are pleading for your support every donation brings Anu closer to a safer, brighter future. ❤️

Nigeria has over 18.3 million children out of school, the highest in the world. That is about 1 in every 3 children, with most affected in the northern regions. Many have never stepped into a classroom, while others dropped out due to poverty, insecurity, or social challenges. Even more alarming, a large number of those in school still struggle with basic reading and math.

This is more than a statistic, it is a crisis affecting the future of millions.

At Jyreh Foundation, we see a quiet truth many widows live with everyday not just the grief of losing a partner, but the slow feeling of being forgotten. As time passes, visits become fewer, conversations fade, and many are left feeling unseen and alone.

This isolation is rarely a choice. It’s shaped by distance, changing families, and life’s challenges. But no one who has given so much should feel invisible.
